Gigandet 17 Rubis, Circa 1970s

Founded in Switzerland in 1926, Gigandet built its name producing mechanical watches and movements, later working closely with Wakmann and Breitling.

This is a bold and very 1970s piece. A wide gold-tone TV style case surrounds a gold tone dial, finished with raised geometric markers and a date window. 

Paired with a brown leather strap.

17-jewel manual-wind movement with incabloc shock protection. Working and keeping time.

Any signs of wear are clearly presented in the images.
